SEE YOUR AUDIO, NOT JUST HEAR IT ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * A crisp, zoomable waveform. Scroll the mouse wheel to zoom right down to the individual sample when you need to be exact. * A new SPECTRAL view that shows the frequencies in a song as a colour picture. A vocal entry that's invisible on a normal waveform stands out clearly here - so finding the perfect intro point is far quicker. Choose from eleven colour schemes and adjust the intensity to taste. * Overlay and Split views let you see the waveform and the spectral picture together, with a slider to blend between them. Your chosen view is remembered next time. THE SEVEN CUE POINTS, MADE SIMPLE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Set Cue, Intro, Hook Start, Hook Length, Outro, Segue and Overlap - by clicking the waveform, or by tapping the button on the fly while the song plays. Drag any marker to fine-tune it. Unsaved changes are shown in pink so nothing gets missed. LISTEN THE WAY YOU WORK ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Play from anywhere - click the waveform and play from that spot instead of sitting through the intro every time. * Play or loop just the hook to check you've picked the right few seconds. * Choose which sound output the audio plays through - studio monitors, a USB interface, whatever you use - and switch it even while a song is playing. DO A WHOLE WEEK AT ONCE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Load a folder (and its sub-folders), or browse straight to network drives and other computers on your station's network. * Let VSE2 find the Cue and Outro points automatically across every ticked song - a huge time-saver on a week of new music. * Set air dates and stop dates straight from the filename. Name your files with the date and VSE2 fills the dates in for a whole folder in one click - ideal for dated content like syndicated shows. * Filter the list, tick songs with the space bar, and export the list to a spreadsheet. SCHEDULING AND RESTRICTIONS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Set when a song is allowed to play - a start date, a stop date, and day-part restrictions down to the hour. * Year, month and day are set separately, so you can say "every December" or a single date, whichever the content needs. * Save the day-and-time patterns you use often as templates and apply them with one click. * VSE2 supports both StationPlaylist restriction formats and warns you before any change that could lose information. WORKS WITH RADIODJ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Running RadioDJ as well? VSE2 can edit its cue points directly - on the waveform, just like any other song - and save them straight back to RadioDJ. Your audio files and everything else in RadioDJ are left untouched. BRING YOUR MUSIC ACROSS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Import cue points from Zetta and convert them to StationPlaylist's format. * Convert Zetta audio to MP3 in one step: VSE2 makes a 320kbps copy AND writes the cue points onto the new file, so it's ready for air. Your originals are never changed. * Open any song in your favourite audio editor (Audacity, Adobe Audition and more) straight from the right-click menu. No jargon, just how to get the job done. LOOKING AFTER YOUR FILES ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VSE2 never writes over a song in place.
